There is a time for everything

In the movie version of Prince Caspian, one of the installment of C.S. Lewis’ “Chronicles of Narnia", we will notice a valuable lesson about “right timing”…or waiting..

When the High King Peter & his siblings returned to the magical place called Narnia it was in utter ruins. Aside from that, there’s a great battle that awaits them. Peter intended to push forward against the enemy but Prince Caspian objects with the plan. Lucy, the youngest of the four Pevencies, was also against the idea. Lucy said, “It seems that you are thinking of only two options, to die here or to die there. Have you forgotten who really defeated the white witch? (Lucy was referring to Aslan).” The Older Pevensie answered, “We’ve waited for Aslan long enough. Now, we need to do it ourselves.” But Peter was persistent, which leadsdeath to his people, many died in the battle & they lost.

Avoid rush decisions & hurried actions because Haste makes waste. Learn to count the cost &wait for the best offer, God’s offer..There is a time for everything, so avoid hurrying andrushing.

Something great happens when we wait. Waiting develops our character. As you wait, learn todepend on God, obey His voice & trust that His timing is the best.

I ran across some pictures of us taken months ago..

There we were in all of our naive glory. Looking like we had the world in a string.

Little did I know the kinds of surprises life had in store for us...

what twists and turns the days would take on how our journeys would shape us...

Seeing those photos sure brought back memories and stirred up a few old strong longings and regrets. But mostly it amazed me to look at us then and look at us now..

Still here..

Hoping to be more resilient than we could imagine..

less perfect than we hoped...

and way more amazing than either of us could have pictured back then..

Too often when a relationship/friendship ends, people are confused, and they don't know what to do or say.

In our case, our lives just went in different directions, dissolving many of the things we once had in common.

Still, I want you to know how much you’ve done for me, how great our friendship was in its time. And, remember, I’ll always feel good about what we shared. You’re someone I’ll never forget..

she's but a picturesque image: carrying a fragrant aroma sweeping sweetly reviving life to such a soul of mine. So precious..& priceless such a rare & precious jewel could ever be found. Too wonderful, with splendid colors in brilliant light. A gift of God carryng with her, smiles of joy thrusting through a heart dat may have been bowed low.

I would likely by all desire have it; but it seems to expensive to be handled by me. Now wondering of the smallest yet loftiest possibilities to have her, i look up in heaven:and WAIT...& hope..

and trust a Divine Hand..
