FRIENDS.. :D

I ran across some pictures of us taken months ago..

There we were in all of our naive glory. Looking like we had the world in a string.

Little did I know the kinds of surprises life had in store for us...

what twists and turns the days would take on how our journeys would shape us...

Seeing those photos sure brought back memories and stirred up a few old strong longings and regrets. But mostly it amazed me to look at us then and look at us now..

Still here..

Still Friends..

Hoping to be more resilient than we could imagine..

less perfect than we hoped...

and way more amazing than either of us could have pictured back then..

Too often when a relationship/friendship ends, people are confused, and they don't know what to do or say.

In our case, our lives just went in different directions, dissolving many of the things we once had in common.

Still, I want you to know how much you’ve done for me, how great our friendship was in its time. And, remember, I’ll always feel good about what we shared. You’re someone I’ll never forget..
